Hide notices from other plugins

One switch hides the banners, nags and promos that other plugins and your theme add to the top of admin screens.

  • Notices from WordPress, WooCommerce and Disable Bloat still show.
  • So does any notice that contains a keyword from your list: saved, payment, error, failed, expired, security and database by default. You can edit the list.
  • That way payment problems, errors and “Settings saved” still get through.

This option hides admin notices only. It doesn’t remove dashboard widgets or JavaScript popups.

How it works

A faster site in three switches

  1. Install it free

Get Disable Bloat from WordPress.org and activate it. WooCommerce Admin and Analytics switch off straight away.

  2. Open Settings › Disable Bloat

Every option is grouped: WooCommerce, admin, performance, core, the Block Editor and third-party plugins.

  3. Switch off what you don’t use

WooCommerce assets are only removed on non-store pages, so your shop keeps working. Your files are never changed.

Free vs Pro

Start free. Go Pro for the deep clean.

The free version handles the big WooCommerce and admin wins. Pro adds the APIs, header scripts, login page, third-party clean-ups and hiding other plugins’ notices.

Every Pro option, from $29/year.

FAQ

Disable Bloat questions, answered

We don’t offer a setup service, but the docs cover every option and you can always contact us.

Does it work with my theme?

Yes. Disable Bloat doesn’t depend on your theme or front end.

Do I need WooCommerce to use it?

No. Without WooCommerce, its WooCommerce options simply stay inactive and everything else works as normal.

What happens when I activate it?

WooCommerce Admin and Analytics are turned off by default. Every other option stays as it is until you switch it on.

Will disabling WooCommerce scripts break my shop?

No. WooCommerce scripts and styles are only removed on non-store pages.

Are cart fragments safe to disable?

Yes. Your pages get faster; the only trade-off is that the cart total in the header updates on the next page load.

Should I disable the REST API?

Only if nothing on your site depends on it. Turning it off can break the Block Editor and some integrations.

Will I lose my settings if I deactivate it?

No. Your settings stay, unless you turn on the cleanup option before deleting the plugin.

Does it change my files?

No. It only switches WordPress features on and off.

If I hide notices from other plugins, will I miss important ones?

Notices from WordPress, WooCommerce and Disable Bloat always show. Notices from other plugins and your theme still show when they contain a keyword from your list (by default saved, payment, error, failed, expired, security and database), so payment problems, errors and “Settings saved” get through. You can edit the list. The option doesn’t remove dashboard widgets or JavaScript popups.

Is it a caching plugin?

No. It works alongside your caching plugin.
